Despite the tight schedule, Mr. Zhang Huachun, General Manager of Meijing Group, visited as many stores as possible to communicate with employees as an important agenda for his revisit. Without any notification in advance, he went to the four major office areas to chat with employees there, bringing them gifts for the Chinese New Year.
It was quite a surprise for many long-serving employees to see Mr. Zhang there. As if they were meeting an old friend they hadn't seen in years, they greeted him and chatted with him naturally. "You haven't changed much, Mr. Zhang." "Would you come over here later and enjoy a tea break with us?" "Well, it's been a long time. Welcome home!" ... As he heard the heartfelt greetings in his native dialect, Mr. Zhang's face lit up with a smile and he seemed genuinely delighted during the visit. He responded loudly in the same dialect, exclaiming, "No problem! No problem!" Everyone looked happy.
New employees, who had met Mr. Zhang before, also made brief self-introduction to Mr. Zhang. "I'm trying to remember your names. Maybe I'll make it after several rounds of visits," Mr. Zhang joked as he distributed the Chinese New Year gifts elaborately prepared for them to ease the new employee's nervousness.
Mr. Zhang became increasingly engrossed and eventually took a seat to recount the story of his own entrepreneurial journey. He recalled the process of developing the business and felt that Meijing Group and all the staff could not have achieved what they have today if they had not worked together to overcome the difficulties and give their emotions and abilities. He emphasized that Meijing Group's employees should stay confident but avoid being cocky. They should work together and the efforts they made will also become something wonderful to recall by all in the future.
It was also the first time that Mr. Zhang visited those newly built or recently renovated specialized stores. Notably, he took a tour of those stores like a customer, experiencing the products and seeing if the store layout is reasonable. The customer experience at Meijing Smart Doors and Windows and Meijing Smart and Comfortable Home is particularly important because it is part of the significant indicators to evaluate the product quality as well as the quality of services and delivery capability. It is necessary to have in-depth insight into the real needs of consumers and improve and promote the products and services through constant feedback and optimization.
During the visit, Mr. Zhang sometimes stopped and talked with employees at the store to get their honest opinions about daily work and suggestions. Together, they expressed their feelings openly and Mr. Zhang answered their doubts. Where there were disagreements, Mr. Zhang inquired about many on-site employees and analyzed the problems with them. Employees were truly impressed by Mr. Zhang's integrity and accepted his constructive opinions and suggestions, with a deeper understanding of the company's operation philosophy of three dimensions and the strategy of "insisting on providing quality and cost-effective products".
